Follow these steps for a flawless install and 50 years worth of service!
1. Install Eset Nod32 Antivirus.
(During Install, chose "set update parameters later", uncheck "Threatsense.net", and check "check for early detection of
unwanted programs)
DO NOT RESTART!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Install the file labeled "Bingo" in the same folder as the setup file
DO NOT RESTART!!!!!!!!!!!
3. Go into the folder labeled "esetsmartsecurityfix1" and click on the MSDOS BATCH file. A
message will popup and tell you the system will shut down, let this happen it will restart your computer.
4. After the computer restarts, go to the antivirus console, click on SETUP, click toggle advanced mode, and then click "enter entire advanced setup
tree"
5. On the left hand side click on Update. Under "update server" drop down menu, you will see all of the eset update server addresses. If the antivirus does not update then change the update server to the next server untill your antivirus will
update. It usually works on server 21, 22, or 23. Mine is set to 22.
Dont be fooled by the update downloading. If it takes a few seconds and it says its complete, then change the server address. The updates take a few minutes.
If this doesnt work for you then you have not
followed my instructions correctly. Uninstall and try again. IT IS WORTH THE 50 YEARS OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
